An opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager has become available with one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of metal products.Based in Birmingham, you will join a large manufacturing site and will be responsible for all Health & Safety activities as well as training to staff on H&S best practices, procedures as well as training users of site vehicles such as FLT’s, cranes and mobile platforms. Relevant training for certificates and licences will be provided. NEBOSH certification is essential for this role. Health & Safety Manager – Responsibilities. Advise the Company on statutory requirements and best practice to follow in respect of Health & Safety and training in order that the Company and its employees are effectively protected and developed. Chairman of Health & Safety meetings and accident / near miss enquiries. Develop and maintain as necessary the Company Health & Safety policy.
