Senior Project Engineer
Location: Godalming
Salary: £50-60K
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join an international engineering team, taking ownership of multidisciplinary projects from design through to commissioning and handover.
This is a hands-on senior role covering process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation engineering, with responsibility for delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead projects from design, procurement and installation through to commissioning.
- Develop and review P&IDs, equipment specifications and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, contractors and internal engineering teams.
- Support technical proposals, quotations and vendor approvals.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
- Drive quality, safety, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Support customer contracts, upgrades and spare parts requirements.
About you:
- Proven experience delivering process equipment or engineering projects.
- Strong technical background in process, mechanical, electrical or instrumentation engineering.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- A track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
- Comfortable working internationally and travelling to project sites when required.
