Job Description- Support and develop the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System, maintaining ISO14001 and ISO45001 accreditations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and internal corporate requirements.
- Lead the development and maintenance of HSE manuals, safe systems of work, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide advice, training, and support to staff and management on HSE matters.
- Conduct and support incident, near miss, and accident investigations with follow-up actions and reports.
- Deliver effective HSE inductions, risk assessments, and legal compliance checks.
- Co-ordinate and implement corrective actions following audits and inspections.
- Monitor environmental impact and drive energy reduction initiatives aligned with ISO14001 goals.
- Represent the company in liaison with external bodies.
- Support Facilities Management to ensure full legal compliance.
- Provide monthly HSE metrics and insights to senior stakeholders across the business.
- Previous experience in a health, safety and environmental role within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Strong knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001.
- Proven experience conducting audits, assessments, and delivering HSE training.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels of a business.
- Able to work autonomously and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
- Commercially aware with a practical, hands-on approach to HSE.
