Are you an experienced and hands-on Electrical Compliance Manager looking for your next challenge with a growing and dynamic company? Our client is seeking an Electrical Compliance Manager to provide guidance and expertise on product compliance requirements, assisting to identify applicable standards and supporting dealings with external test and certification agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Be the overall product compliance lead with responsibility for the compliance status of all products.
- Ensure ongoing compliance of all products with British and European technical and safety standards, including staying up to date with compliance changes, assessing the impact on products and proactive planning/scheduling of timely re-testing and re-certification as necessary.
- Lead projects to achieve compliance with new standards required to address new markets (e.g. GCC, SASO) or in response to regulatory changes (e.g. UKCA, PSTI).
- Support the New Product Development team and ensure that new products are developed with product compliance and quality.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience of electrical/product testing.
- High Voltage testing - 240v IEC Electrical Regulations and Compliance.
- Experience understanding of manufacturing processes and materials selection.
