Job Description
Lead engineering and product development programmes from concept through to production and delivery
Manage engineering projects, ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering and design teams
Support the development and implementation of SolidWorks PDM systems, including document management, revision control, and engineering data processes
Work closely with design, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to ensure successful product development
Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, systems, and product development activities
Manage project priorities, resources, risks, and key programme milestones
Provide senior leadership across the engineering function and contribute to wider business strategy

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
Strong background as a Design Engineer with significant experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
Proven Project Management or Programme Management experience
Experience leading product development projects from concept through to production
Experience implementing or managing SolidWorks PDM systems
Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering processes
Previous senior leadership or management experience within an engineering environment
Excellent project planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders
Commercially aware with the ability to balance technical, programme, and business requirements
