Our client, a leading engineering business, is recruiting for a Project Engineer to manage and deliver projects from initial concept through to production.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and improve manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency and compliance.
- Build customer relationships and support quotations and new business opportunities.
- Lead NPDI projects and ensure new products are successfully introduced into production.
- Develop tooling, processes and manufacturing documentation to improve production.
- Provide technical support and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience across metal manufacturing processes, including machining, forming or fabrication.
- Proven experience within a highly regulated precision manufacturing environment, ideally aerospace.
- Strong NPI expertise with the ability to lead projects and manage customer relationships.
- Confident communicator with a proactive, collaborative and driven approach.
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset, with hands-on fabrication experience highly valued.
