We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Team Leader for a high-precision manufacturing business in Poole. You will lead the QC team, oversee inspection and testing activities and play a key role in developing the team, driving continuous improvement and supporting new products and processes.
Permanent position with a salary dependent on experience. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, and Friday 8am - 1:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the QC team, including daily workload planning, setting targets and monitoring performance.
- Oversee quality inspection and testing, supporting inspection activities and measurement techniques.
- Develop team performance, ensuring effective induction, training, competency, probation reviews, and ongoing development.
- Drive quality and process improvement by implementing improvement initiatives and supporting NPI.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous experience working within a highly regulated industry in a quality control position.
- Strong technical competence and decision-making capability.
- Supervisory/Team Leadership experience is highly desirable.
