Production Operative – Double Day Shift
Location: Bridgwater
Pay: £15.42 per hour + £11.55 daily standing allowance
Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 4 weeks
About the Role
We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a growing manufacturing business in Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for stable, long-term employment with the potential to progress within an established manufacturing environment.
Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates with previous production or manufacturing experience, as well as those looking to develop new skills.
What's on Offer?
- £15.42 per hour
- £11.55 daily standing allowance paid on top of your hourly rate
- Double day shift pattern: 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm
- Early finish at 8pm on Fridays when working the late shift
- Overtime available, paid at 1.5x on Saturdays and 2x on Sundays
- Temporary-to-permanent opportunity

The daily allowance is equivalent to approximately £1.54 per hour when spread across 7.5 paid hours, giving an effective rate of around £16.96 per hour, including the allowance.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for reliable, motivated individuals who:

- Are committed to maintaining quality and safety standards
- Are comfortable working a rotating double day shift pattern
Previous manufacturing or production experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
