Job Opportunity: CNC Lathe Operator / Setter
Bridgwater
Competitive Salary + Overtime
Double Days: 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm
We’re looking for a CNC Lathe Operator / Setter to join a busy manufacturing team in Bridgwater.
This is a great opportunity for someone with genuine CNC turning experience who can operate machines confidently and carry out basic setting work.
About the Role
- Operate CNC lathes across multiple machines
- Change programs, tools and adjust offsets
- Carry out basic setting and first-off checks
- Work across two machines simultaneously
- Read technical drawings and check dimensions
- Maintain quality and production standards
- Progress onto more complex work with training
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on CNC turning experience – essential
- Able to operate CNC machinery independently
- Some setting experience / understanding of offsets and tooling
- Fanuc experience preferred, but other controls such as Mazak or Heidenhain considered
- Comfortable working across multiple machines
- Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn
- Strong team player with a desire to progress
