Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast-paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities. The role focuses on direct purchasing and sits within the Bought-Out Parts category, covering a wide range of commodities including films, foams, tapes, clips, coatings, stampings, fasteners, fixings and surface treatments. Permanent Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 2pm Day to day commercial management of the supplier base Negotiate prices and contract terms Manage supplier delivery issues /negotiate claims Previously worked within the automotive manufacturing sector 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays ~ Life assurance x3 salary ~ Company pension, 4.5% employer contribution ~
