Our Client is a leading Engineering and Manufacturing organisation based in the heart of Gloucestershire. Due to continued success and growth, they are now seeking to recruit a mechanical assembler and test technician based in Stroud. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for the assembly and testing of high precision components and associated parts for oil and gas sector use.
Responsibilities of an assembler/tester will include:
- Build and test our products in line with the assembly & test procedures provided and without deviation.
- Assembly and testing of components in line with work instructions.
- Using high pressure test cells to carry out testing to test the products.
- Take responsibility for the quality of the work.
The suitable assembler/fitter is required to have:
- Proven experience in a production or automotive based assembly and test environment.
- Previous experience in the use of high-pressure test cells.
- Strong team-working ethic, with the drive and flexibility to maintain pace of work as priorities and requirements change.
- Strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Willingness to be trained with new skills.
- Attention to detail.
Working week: 38.75 hours per week Monday to Friday
Working hours: rotating double days
