Our client are on the lookout for a Quality Engineer who has experience in focusing on corrective actions and process improvements through the manufacturing process. The role will be heavily driven by excel data, the on-site ERP system, and NCR investigation outcomes.

Job Description

  • Create and control relevant Quality documentation such as Control Plans, Inspection Plans, SPC charts, etc.
  • Develop robust, cost effective and practical inspection methodologies using appropriate measuring equipment suitable for products throughout the life cycle.
  • Develop a continuous improvement “pipeline” of activities by supporting LEAN Events and generating individual ideas to improve EHS, Quality, Cost and Delivery performance.
  • Implement and/or project manage problem solutions through working with external suppliers, working with customers, proving out improved technologies and programmes, completing Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.

Quality Engineer

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong quality engineering experience within a highly regulated industry (Preferably Aerospace)
  • Well-versed carrying out a range of product quality activities (root cause analysis/8D’s, dealing with non-conformances, problem solving).
