The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background, experience working within marine or industrial environments, and the ability to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot a wide range of AC/DC and LV electrical systems. Marine Electrician (Offshore) Permanent Position Monday to Friday Marine Electrician (Offshore) Job Description β’ Carry out installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of AC/DC and LV marine electrical systems and equipment Diagnose and rectify electrical faults on offshore and marine assets Install, terminate, and test electrical cabling, switchboards, control panels, motors, generators, and associated equipment Conduct inspection, testing, and commissioning of AC/DC and LV electrical systems Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation Support commissioning, upgrades, and modification projects on electrical systems Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with offshore, marine, and electrical industry standards Liaise with clients, vessel crews, and internal departments to deliver projects effectively Marine Electrician (Offshore) Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications β’ Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship ~Minimum 5 years' experience within the electrical or marine industry ~ Experience working with AC/DC and LV electrical systems within marine, offshore, industrial, or heavy engineering environments ~ Strong fault-finding, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting skills ~ Experience with motors, generators, switchboards, control panels, and distribution systems ~ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings ~ Experience with electrical testing, inspection, and commissioning activities ~ Good understanding of health, safety, and compliance requirements within offshore environments ~
