Our client is a leading international manufacturer of specialist superalloys and high-precision alloy components. They are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have electrical / mechanical maintenance engineering experience. Maintenance Engineer Permanent £39,116.49 (Inclusive of Shift Allowance) Double Day Shifts, Rotating, Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm Chard Maintenance Engineer Job Description Perform a variety of complex skilled tasks to assist in the daily running and preventative maintenance of the production equipment, have ownership small projects. Perform mechanical skills to diagnose faults and repair including but not limited to pneumatic, hydraulic, to production machines. Perform electrical skills to diagnose faults and repair, upgrades to machines and facilities. Read & interpret equipment manuals & work orders to perform required maintenance and service plans. Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments. Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment Assist in Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) including developing planned and preventative maintenance and complete work status feedback. Use of own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials, and seeking manufacturer technical support Maintenance Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Electrical / Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Experience Engineering Qualifications – HNC / NVQ / C&G, 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations Fault Finding Ability Both Mechanically & Electrically Experience of performing Maintenance Engineering within an Industrial Manufacturing Environment. Read and understand electrical drawings Competent in interpreting blueprints, sketches, diagrams, operating instructions, manuals, specifications, and correspondence.
