The UK Corporate Finance Manager will be responsible for corporate finance processes for OW in the UK including management of shareholder and external debt, hedges, credit support requirements, insurance and economic modelling support.
Management of the modelling and modelling resources for all UK projects and support for the OW UK and Madrid teams including but not limited to:
- Monthly/quarterly models for UK project boards
- Project models for sell-down in UK
- Project models for re-financing in UK
- Project modelling for UK bids (offtake, sites)
- Budget updates for the Madrid project controls team
- Provide support to Project Controls teams in UK
- Provide sole support from the UK in the sell-down of any UK project.
Management corporate finance agreements and relationships with shareholders, sponsors and commercial lenders including but not limited to:
- Leading the relationship with commercial lenders on all projects in the UK in construction or development.
- Support to operational projects where required
- Placing, co-ordination and management of project finance (SHLs, EBLs, Senior Debt)
- Provide support to Madrid Corporate Finance team where required.
- Placing and management of pre-hedges and full hedges on UK projects.
- Management of credit support requirements for all UK projects including but not limited to:
- Placing and management of credit support UK projects
- Management of guaranteed fee agreements and fees for UK credit support
- Management of any ongoing claims through to settlement
- Management of any other support to be provided to UK projects including but not limited to:
- Project support for approvals/investment decisions on UK projects.
- Leading finance committees.
Management of the UK corporate finance team including but not limited to:
- Quarterly and annual reviews
REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS:
- University Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering.
- Professional experience of working with an economic modelling for an infrastructure project and project reporting.
- Advanced Excel based modelling skills are essential.
- Demonstrable Business, economic and financial knowledge/experience, specifically of project finance and equity bridge loans.
- Knowledge of energy or other infrastructure projects.
Languages: The project has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Other languages will be highly valued.
