Reporting to the Asset Integrity Interface Manager, the Asset Integrity Project Engineer will be responsible for managing & delivering project objectives to the agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements. The role will require excellent motivation, discipline and organisation skills, the ability to communicate and engage with teams effectively and excellent project management and supervision skills. The role will involve taking responsibility for a variety of projects and at varying degrees of maturity, with responsibility to establish a common approach to delivery aligned to company objectives and processes.
Core Main Accountabilities:
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring assigned engineering projects
- Communicating effectively with team members to interpret their requirements and needs
- Maintaining quality control and compliance in every aspect of the project
- Submitting reports on project status
- Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees
- Providing technical support and guidance to the project team members
- Coordinating with various teams, including design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams, to ensure project goals are met
- Client interaction and interpreting their needs and requirements for the project
- Developing specifications for the project
- Liaising with and providing support to the site-based O&M team, including supporting warranty management
- Providing high quality reporting to internal and external stakeholders as required.
Required Academic and Professional Experience:
- A degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred. Relevant industry experience would be considered
- Experience in a Project Engineering or Management role
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the energy sector is required
- Experience within the offshore wind sector is desirable
- Ability to support all facets of projects throughout the full lifecycle
- Experience in an engineering support role is required.

Languages:
The project has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Proficiency in other languages will be valued.
Location:
Location in Edinburgh or Buckie, but travel to O&M facilities in the north-east of Scotland and European locations as well as suppliers' facilities and offices will be required.
