The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

This role will support the UK business in coordinating and tracking all local training requirements which is not managed by the corporate Learning & Development Team. This includes training for the Operations and Maintenance team, Asset Management and UK staff. This role also encompasses assisting the corporate Learning & Development with administration of training allowances and any ad hoc work related to the annual training plan.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • General Offshore Training
    • Developing and owning the training matrix which includes the O&M General H&S and Competency Training Matrix and organisation-wide H&S training requirements.
    • Creation, procurement and launch of O&M training solutions and organisation-wide H&S training, including initiation, planning and execution through training needs analysis, engagement with organisational requirements, specification development, and procurement including supplier/contractor mobilisation and account management.
    • Liaison with O&M managers and finance teams to obtain budget approvals and arrange payment of training through managing purchase requisitions.
    • Support and performance management of O&M and organisation-wide H&S training delivery, including training setup, launch, monitoring of usage and effectiveness, and ensuring successful implementation with feedback gathering.
    • Supporting O&M organisational development plans and managing internal training records, ensuring that any training that expires is flagged to line managers, with all training booked in advance of expiry.
    • Coordination of bookings for all O&M staff to attend training related to their role, bookings for all staff within the UK who may require offshore training (e.g. GWO), including arrangement and recharge to projects; and coordinating travel for training as required.
    • Coordination of medical certificates.
  • Other:
    • Development of training procedure and ad-hoc LMS implementation, and development of instructions for new software (safety-specific software, LMS); Developing training plans for future service provision.
  • Learning & Development
    • Maintaining and updating database for UK employees who have an allocated training allowance.
    • Arrange payment of training for employees who have a training allowance.
    • Work closely with the People team both in the UK and Spain updating any necessary information regarding the training allowance.
    • Assist the Learning & Development team in Spain where necessary, including booking training venues in the UK when required, following up on training plans, and assisting in arranging annual meetings with Learning & Development team and directors.
    • Acting as a UK point of contact for staff queries relating to L&D.
    • Monitor and manage training allowance budgets.
  • Human Resources
    • Work closely with the UK People team on ad hoc people initiatives.

REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS

Degree in Psychology, Law, Business Administration or equivalent professional experience.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Up to 3 years’ experience in business administration, human resources or within a similar role. Experience in large or complex organizations is beneficial. Experience in renewable energy is beneficial.

RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

This role will not have any direct reports.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Advanced level of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Excel) is required.
