You’ll facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and help maintain a steady, high-quality flow of deliverables across integrated hardware/software release cycles. You’ll work closely with engineering leads, product owners, and technical program managers to ensure the team stays aligned, focused, and continuously improving — driving collaboration across embedded software, DSP, applications, and hardware design teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams developing embedded and application-level software for satellite systems.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate closely with hardware, firmware, and software teams to align dual-track (hardware/software) development and release cycles.
- Identify and remove blockers, optimize workflow, and help teams manage dependencies in a complex embedded development environment.
- Support Product Owners in maintaining clear, prioritized backlogs and defining sprint goals aligned with project milestones.
- Foster an environment of transparency, accountability, and delivery excellence.
- Contribute to process evolution, encouraging best practices for Agile delivery in safety-critical and real-time embedded contexts.
- Track progress using tools such as Jira and Confluence, and generate meaningful delivery metrics and insights.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Lead in an embedded systems environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles in systems that combine hardware and software releases.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams that include firmware, embedded software, and hardware engineers.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Agile frameworks in engineering environments.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent Agile project management tools.
- A technical background or solid understanding of embedded software, real-time systems, or hardware integration.
