Young, hungry B2B professional services company looking for a tech recruiter to join our in-house sourcing team and assist in finding talent for us globally to fuel our growth. We need someone that can hit the ground running, is happy diving in at the deep end, ideally has done contract recruitment previously and has an established network on LinkedIn.
Our UK HQ is in East Grinstead, West Sussex so you are welcome to be office-based full-time or hybrid – we are fairly flexible on this but feel it’s good to get face time with new colleagues. The current talent team come into the office 1 day per week which we are ok with.
Who are we: Ovyo was launched just before the pandemic started and has quickly grown a strong set of customers in the TV, media & satellite industries including a number of household names. We are a B2B professional services company – we build the platforms, test the apps and drive the programmes that shape the way the world watches video and connects. In 2024 we became part of Loop Future, a Portuguese company where we have continued to grow our management and technical teams.
We think this role will suit someone looking to step away from an agency, who loves the sourcing and account management side but not necessarily the sales and KPIs that come with agency recruitment. Either that or an experienced sourcer that wants a flexible hybrid working setup.
Some of the tasks that you will be responsible for:
- Take the lead on sourcing urgent hires across the globe (think fast-paced quick turnaround contract recruitment).
- Source Developers, Testers, Engineers, Architects, Project Managers and Consultants across the video, media, satellite and aerospace sector.
- Build talent pools of people across Portugal, UK, Europe, India and the USA.
- Manage our recruitment/talent database, keep it live and current.
- Oversee & improve our talent acquisition process and experience including defining the tools, boards etc. that we should use.
- Mentor, motivate and upskill the wider in-house talent team.
- Format profiles as needed for submitting to projects.
The experience we are looking for in a candidate:
- 2+ years recruiting technical roles including for contract/interim roles, either in-house or for an agency.
- Someone who loves fast-paced, quick turnaround sourcing.
- Good understanding of software development/engineering/technical recruitment.
- Must have experience recruiting internationally – we are a global business.
- Strong experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Bringing your energy, enthusiasm, drive, autonomy and a positive outlook on rapid change/business transformation.
