Company Description
Ovviovita is an award-winning British beauty brand whose philosophy is deeply rooted in Ayurvedic traditions. The company harnesses the healing power of botanicals to create hair and body care products that are both nurturing and effective. Ovviovita focuses on blending natural ingredients with modern formulation techniques to deliver high-performance, sensory experiences. Team members join a purpose-driven brand that values holistic wellness, sustainability, and authentic storytelling in the beauty space.
The Role
This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves talking to people, and isn't afraid of a camera. You'll be the face and voice of Ovviovita across content and customer touchpoints — creating content that stops the scroll, engaging with our community daily, and helping convert browsers into loyal customers. This position is offered as a 6-month fixed-term contract, with the strong intention to move to a permanent full-time role for the right person at the end of the term.
What You'll Be Doing
- Generate fresh, original content ideas that drive engagement across Instagram and TikTok, rooted in what our audience actually cares about
- Translate the Ovviovita brand — our Ayurvedic roots, our values, our founder story — into content formats and styles that feel native to each platform
- Shoot and produce content using an iPhone across a variety of settings — from product flat-lays to on-the-go founder content to Ovviovita events
- Edit content using CapCut or similar tools with a strong platform-first sensibility
- Capture reactive, trend-led content quickly — street-style interviews, GRWM, behind-the-scenes, day-in-the-life
- Appear confidently on camera when needed, bringing warmth, personality, and energy
- Continuously test and learn, iterating on content based on performance and engagement
- Stay ahead of social trends, creators, and platform updates — and bring those ideas to the table
Community & Customer Engagement
- Respond to DMs, comments, and emails with warmth, brand knowledge, and genuine care
- Manage customer service queries — from ingredient questions to order follow-ups
- Build real relationships with our community across social and email platforms
Sales Support
- Have confident, knowledgeable conversations with customers — online and in person at events
- Support promotional campaigns and new product launches
- Help convert enquiries into sales through enthusiasm and authentic product knowledge
Who You Are
- Passionate about content creation, social media, and storytelling
- Someone who genuinely understands Instagram and TikTok — how they differ, what works on each, and how to adapt accordingly
- Confident both behind and in front of the camera, comfortable filming in different environments and thinking on your feet
- Proactive and self-starting — you bring ideas without being asked and follow through on them
- A strong sense of what makes scroll-stopping, engaging content
- Willing to experiment, take creative risks, and try new formats
- Editing skills in CapCut or similar, with a feel for short-form pacing and style
- Sales-aware — you've had experience in retail, events, hospitality, or direct customer-facing roles and know how to listen, respond, and guide
- Positive, energetic, and collaborative — you thrive in a small, fast-moving team
- A genuine interest in beauty, wellness, or natural living — and ideally a curiosity about Ayurveda, botanicals, or hormonal health
Bonus Points If You…
- Have a personal interest in Ayurveda, herbalism, perimenopause, or plant-based living
- Have run or contributed to a brand's social presence before
- Have experience with Meta or TikTok paid content or boosting
- Have worked in a founder-led or startup environment
What We Offer
- A 6-month fixed-term contract with a genuine pathway to a permanent role
- The chance to be part of a meaningful, fast-growing independent brand
- Real creative ownership — your ideas will shape how Ovviovita shows up in the world
- A founder-led environment where you'll learn across content, brand, and e-commerce
- North West London base with flexibility built in
