Role Overview
Analytics Manager (Workflow) – Performance and Insight function at OVO. Hub‑based locations in Bristol, London or Glasgow. Full‑time, salary band £45,770‑£60,410. Reporting to Senior Analytics Manager Kieron Meyrick.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Analysts, Senior Analysts and Analytics Engineers to deliver an end‑to‑end view of workflow across OVO Operations.
- Architect reliable MI solutions that enable frontline teams to plan, forecast and optimise performance.
- Partner with senior business leaders to maximise strategic value derived from data and insights.
- Drive continuous improvement through governance, quality assurance and automation using data governance standards.
- Build self‑serve BI capabilities, scorecards and dashboards that reduce ad‑hoc requests and improve decision speed.
- Collaborate with Core Tech and Compliance teams to achieve first‑time MI and regulatory reporting that is accurate and automated.
- Champion technical excellence, develop the team’s career path and foster an innovative, collaborative culture.
Qualifications
- Proven people leader who can coach, mentor and strategically develop a diverse analytical team.
- MI architect with deep technical literacy across the modern data stack (SQL, cloud data platforms, version control, BI tools such as Tableau/Looker Core).
- Senior stakeholder manager comfortable collaborating with Directors, C‑suite and shaping priorities using data‑driven thought leadership.
- Strategic planner capable of building and executing a compelling roadmap for MI delivery, governance and future tool adoption.
