As a Smart Energy Engineer, you’ll be working at customers' homes delivering a service we can be proud of and helping us achieve our mission of driving progress towards net zero carbon living.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Being a passionate advocate of OVO’s Plan Zero and energy efficiency, delivering the highest possible level of customer satisfaction.
- Engaging with our customers on the benefits of smart meters including how to monitor and reduce their energy consumption.
- Responsible for the whole customer experience, ensuring you have the right materials stocked in your van and utilising strong technical skills to deliver exceptional service.
- Adapt working methods to installing Smart metering systems in a range of customer environments.
- Identify unsafe situations or conditions and take appropriate actions.
- Work collaboratively with peers and colleagues while having a flexible approach to ensure we always deliver on our customers’ needs.
- Carry out risk assessments to ensure safety of yourself, customer and their property.
You’ll be a successful Smart Energy Engineer here at OVO if you…
- Hold a CCN1/CMA1 & MET1 or Level 2 Smart Meter Diploma.
- Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Smart Energy Engineer / Dual Fuel Meter installer.
- Hold a current full manual driving license (with up to 6 points).
