At Oviva, we’re on a mission to make sustainable, personalized, clinically effective care accessible to everyone and to deliver against our vision of becoming Europe’s leading AI‑powered chronic care platform. Our digital programmes support people living with weight related illnesses. While weight loss is a goal for many, our approach is about so much more: improving health, building confidence, and enhancing quality of life. We’ve already supported over one million people across the UK, Switzerland, and Germany, with a shared service centre in Poland.
The role involves ensuring high team performance, strong clinical standards, and supportive people management. You’ll contribute to clinical service delivery while also fostering a high‑performing, engaged, and mission‑aligned team. You’ll help implement key frameworks around QA, safeguarding, and training, support the business strategy by cascading priorities to your team, and provide valuable feedback to shape programme delivery and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- People & Performance Management: Lead engaging 1:1s, regular check‑ins, and team discussions to foster growth. Drive team performance using clear goals and KPI metrics (e.g., attendance, utilisation, QA). Address underperformance constructively and confidently. Create an inclusive, values‑aligned team culture that reflects the Oviva Way.
- Clinical Contribution: Deliver care or coaching weekly to maintain service awareness and inform team coaching. Use first‑hand clinical insights to flag improvements to pathways, tech, or support tools.
- Clinical Governance & Quality: Implement onboarding, training, QA, and safeguarding processes in partnership with clinical leads. Ensure readiness and consistency across all team compliance activities. Act as the primary escalation contact for day‑to‑day governance issues.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Collaborate with QA, Pathway, Product, and Content teams to evolve programme design. Actively contribute to cross‑team forums and service improvement discussions. Provide frontline insights that inform product development and content creation.
- Operational Alignment & Communication: Lead team through change: Support the team in a fast‑paced, growing environment by managing business change effectively and ensuring clinical standards remain high as we scale. Translate priorities into action: Turn team‑level KPIs and clinical priorities from leadership into clear, actionable tasks for your team. Resource management: Partner with the Resourcing Team to manage rotas and caseload allocation to ensure efficient service delivery. Clear communication: Cascade business updates effectively, ensuring the team is aligned around our goals and motivated by the business’s direction.
About You:
- Leadership Experience: 3 years of experience operating at a level responsible for managing people.
- Change Management: Proven experience leading teams through periods of change and managing services from an operational perspective.
- Operational Performance: Strong ability to review and manage KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to drive team performance.
- People Management: Experienced in managing underperforming staff and handling daily people issues like sickness and administrative tasks.
- Communication & Motivation: Ability to engage, motivate, and provide clear objectives to a remote team of nursing prescribers.
- Problem Solving: Must be solutions‑focused and proactive in initiating workstreams without being prompted.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with using OCS (the clinical platform software).
- Industry Context: Experience in digital health or pioneering clinical programs (Tier 3).
- Quality & Safeguarding: Ability to balance operational clinical performance with quality and clinical safety.
Education & Qualifications:
- Professional experience in Prescriber/Dietetic. Experience managing non‑medical prescribers or obesity nurses is highly relevant for this role.
- Leadership Training: Training in leadership or team supervision is preferred, as the role's primary purpose is people management.
What we offer:
- A mission‑driven environment focused on making a real‑world impact.
- High‑growth opportunities with a clear path to broader strategic leadership.
- A flexible remote/hybrid work culture across the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Poland.
