We’re now looking for a senior director to lead our growth strategy, someone who will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of our agency.
About You
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to be OVID’s Senior Director to deliver and shape a new vision for growth. You will be driven, highly accountable, kind, collaborative, trusted, creative and knowledgeable – able to inspire teams and clients alike. You will be experienced in working in pharmaceutical and health communications – with a fantastic network of contacts across the life sciences sector and a proven ability to bring in new clients from scratch and contribute to the overall running of the agency.
This is an opportunity to play a critical role at OVID Health, providing senior counsel to clients, winning new business and leading management decision-making. You must have:
- A growth mindset, both personal and business-wise.
- High accountability and proven senior leadership experience.
- Industry-recognised expertise in PR / communications (think creative disease awareness campaigns over data comms) and either patient advocacy / engagement; or public affairs / policy.
- An entrepreneurial outlook and an ability to think about client challenges in an original way.
- A firm knowledge of delivering on business goals, including understanding your P&L, resourcing, capacity and margin.
- A kind and collaborative individual who wants the next stage of their career to be growing an exciting agency brand.
Your role responsibilities
- 40% new business and lead generation using your network of contacts
- 20% organic growth - upselling our PR / comms offer to existing clients, plus thought leadership, leading proposals etc.
- 20% client services and delivery, acting as the strategic lead on some accounts.
- 20% leading and growing our communications practice, including line-management and taking a leadership role internally and externally.
