Unicrimp are seeking a driven and motivated Warehouse Manager AM shift to join our Warehouse Operations team on the morning shift. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the management of the morning shift team, organizing and planning the workload, working to deadlines and prioritising and delegating work and duties efficiently.

Main Duties

  • Motivate and manage the Warehouse team.
  • Organize and plan the workload for the warehouse team, working to strict deadlines and prioritizing specific duties depending on business demand.
  • Uphold and actively promote following company policies and procedures.
  • Work with a high level of integrity and maintain high standards of work.
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues at a senior level.
  • Liaise with other departments, including assisting with the Customer Service Office with additional work and queries and liaising with the re-work department with engraving orders.
  • Be involved in the discussion and decision making around new ideas and processes and roles and responsibilities of team members.
  • Pick and check orders, pack orders using the most suitable boxes and packaging, considering the cost implications to the business and label and ship orders.
  • Process customer collections at the customer collections desk.
  • Process parcels/orders using the relevant courier’s software.
  • Safely operate a fork lift truck to unload containers and move stock.
  • Stock condensing and stock rotation.
  • Maintain a good level of housekeeping within the warehouse.
  • Responsible for addressing customer miss-picks and shortage discrepancies.
  • Identify and allocate master bin locations for new stock lines.
  • Print and sort new labels for work orders.
  • Be a key holder for the business, with responsibility for ensuring the site is locked and secure when required.
  • Responsible for monitoring the fire drill procedure and ensuring it is followed by team.
  • Have a knowledge of the different departments across the business.
  • Deal with absences within the team, including being the first port of call for the team when they need to call in sick and hold return to work conversations and ensure all associated documentation is completed.
  • Carry out and record fork lift truck checks.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • FLT Licence
  • Computer literate with an understanding of IT
  • A good working knowledge of health and safety in the workplace
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Leadership skills, with the ability to organise and delegate work and motivate the team.
  • Work within a large team and be able to work on own initiative.

Desirable

  • Good knowledge of Marketing Boards and its functionalities
  • Good knowledge of Re-Work (Acel, Whitbread, Engraving)
  • Good knowledge of Export and its functionalities
