Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and growing business?

We are looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth across East Anglia and contribute to the ongoing success of the Unicrimp product range.

You will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships, winning new business, and driving sustainable sales growth through electrical wholesale and distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth across the designated territory through effective account management and new business development.

  • Promote and sell the full range of Unicrimp products to electrical wholesalers and distribution partners within the region.
  • Develop strong working relationships with key customers, identifying opportunities to increase product penetration and market share.
  • Create and implement territory plans to maximise commercial opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and pipeline updates using company systems and reporting tools.
  • Manage your diary effectively to ensure productive customer engagement and territory coverage.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and expense requirements.
  • Represent the business professionally and act as an ambassador for the wider Scolmore Group.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to identify and develop opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and stay away from home when required.

Desirable

  • Previous experience within the electrical wholesaler, electrical manufacturing, or related sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing a geographical sales territory.

Education & Qualifications

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
