Role Purpose: Join the team at Southampton Football Club as a Matchday Chef, delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced, exciting stadium environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced chefs seeking flexible, casual work during matchdays and major events at St Mary's Stadium.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Chef, Line Chef, Chef de Partie, or Catering Chef within a fast-paced kitchen, stadium, hospitality, events, or venue environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume matchday and event service.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive team player with a positive and professional attitude.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, matchdays, and stadium events.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to a high standard for matchday hospitality areas, corporate functions, and catering outlets.
- Supporting kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy matchdays and events.
- Assisting with food preparation, stock control, stock rotation, and kitchen organisation.
- Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation across all food service areas.
- Contributing to an exceptional guest and matchday experience at St Mary's Stadium.

- Pay rate: 18.90 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).
- Contract type: Casual / Matchday.
- Location: St Mary's Stadium, Southampton.
- Shifts: Flexible, based on home matchdays, conferences, hospitality functions, and stadium events.
