As the Lottery Fundraiser at Overgate Hospice, you will play a key role in generating sustainable income to support the care we provide for local families. You will lead the development and delivery of the Overgate Hospice Lottery and our annual raffle programme, helping to grow participation while ensuring supporters feel valued and connected to the difference their support makes.
You will focus on building and retaining a strong community of lottery players, delivering thoughtful stewardship and engaging communications that encourage long-term support. Alongside this, you will oversee the planning and delivery of the Hospice’s raffles, managing the full process from ticket production and promotion through to the draw itself.
You will also play an important role in growing the lottery through direct supporter engagement, representing the Hospice at events, retail sites and community locations. This will include hosting information stalls, speaking with members of the public and encouraging new supporters to join the lottery and support the work of Overgate Hospice.
Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and supporter care, you will help ensure that the lottery and raffles remain trusted and enjoyable ways for our community to support the Hospice. Through effective promotion, careful management and a strong focus on supporter experience, you will help maximise income while ensuring all activity remains fully compliant with gambling legislation.
