Overclockers UK are a leading online retailer of PC systems and components. Famous throughout the enthusiast community for their knowledge and passion for cutting edge performance components, hardware and systems.

Due to expansion, we are recruiting for an enthusiastic and pro-active individual with a passion for PC hardware and gaming, who is interested in continuing or developing a career in purchasing and ecommerce.

About the team:
In order to stay ahead of the latest trends, OCUK’s Purchasing Team is made up very knowledgeable, passionate, gaming enthusiast, product managers who not only use expertise to curate the perfect range of products but also help to guide our manufacturing partners towards the next big opportunity.

What you will be doing:

Working within our expert team of Product Managers, you will help to support our B2C and B2B sales channels by curating a range of products and purchasing to a forecast and sales volume. You will manage your own product categories, giving you the opportunity to learn and develop your career.

The role includes an option for remote working, but periodic visits to the Stoke-on-Trent headquarters will be required.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure orders will arrive on time and maintain the ETA in our system

  • Negotiate pricing

  • Forecast demand

  • Liaise with goods inwards and suppliers to resolve any issues with incoming deliveries

  • Support our B2B sales team to obtain quotations and place orders with suppliers

  • Manage a range of products to develop your experience

    • Place orders with suppliers based on run rates and lead times, ensuring that stock is always available online.

    • Set up new products including descriptions for the website

    • Research and identify opportunities to grow your product categories

  • Provide general support as required to managers and other team members
