The Role

As HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR team across Overbury and Morgan Lovell, helping to deliver efficient and effective people processes throughout the employee lifecycle. You will provide administrative and operational support to the HR Business Partners, Head of HR, Resourcing Manager and Early Careers team, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered across the business.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while handling confidential information. You will contribute to a variety of HR initiatives, support employee engagement activities and help maintain the systems and processes that underpin our people function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Support
    • Maintain employee records and personnel files within the HR database (Cascade).
    • Prepare employment offers for new starters and coordinate all onboarding documentation to ensure legal and compliance requirements are met prior to commencement.
    • Maintain accurate employee records, processing new starters, leavers and employee changes in a timely manner.
    • Coordinate exit interviews and maintain accurate records of outcomes and feedback.
    • Support annual policy reviews and updates and provide general HR administrative assistance as required.
  • Compliance, Systems & Learning
    • Coordinate additional security screening and background vetting requirements for specific client projects.
    • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System, ensuring compliance training is assigned and completed by new starters.
    • Support the coordination and delivery of the monthly Company Induction programme.
    • Assist with responses to people-related queries associated with pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs) and tender submissions.
  • Resourcing Support
    • Manage vacancy postings on company recruitment platforms and careers pages.
    • Monitor vacancy timelines and ensure adverts are updated or removed when positions have been successfully filled.
    • Support recruitment activity and provide administrative assistance to the wider Resourcing team when required.
  • Projects & Continuous Improvement
    • Support the maintenance and development of the Wellbeing intranet page and associated resources.
    • Assist with the production of quarterly wellbeing communications and the coordination of wellbeing initiatives and events.
    • Maintain and update the People pages on the company intranet.
    • Contribute to internal and external audits, including IT, Business Improvement and ESG-related activities.
    • Support the implementation and communication of employee benefit initiatives and maintain benefits-related content and resources.

What we are looking for:

Experience

  • Experience in an HR-related role or within a department handling confidential information.
  • Experience using a recognised HR database or HR information system.
  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes and maintaining accurate records.

Technical Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Adobe products.
  • Strong systems capability and confidence working with HR databases and online learning platforms.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work using your own initiative.
