The Learning Partnership, together with the Headteacher, is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an After School Club Practitioner to join our team. We are looking for a skilled candidate who is committed to our vision and values, is reliable and resilient, and is passionate about helping our children to thrive.
Candidates will have previous experience working with children and be able to engage and inspire the children through extra-curricular activities. As an After School Club Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant, playful and safe environment for the children. You will lead outdoor and indoor play, creative activities and serve nutritious snacks, ensuring every child feels included and valued. Ideally, the successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification. The candidate needs to have the relevant experience, and it would be desirable but not essential to hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or higher.
Salary:
- Grade 4: Candidate holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification and can support Nursery wraparound provision. FTE £25,584 to £25,990 pro-rata per annum with working hours (actual salary from £8,949 to £9,091).
- Grade 3: Candidate does not hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and will support the After School Club only. FTE £24,796 to £25,186 pro-rata per annum with working hours (actual salary from £8,673 to £8,810).
Working hours will be 15 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, term time only, Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 6:00pm. The deadline for applications is 1st September 2026. Interviews will be arranged for the week commencing 7th September 2026.
