The Position Specifics
Responsibilities
The Host is where each guest experience starts and ends.
The door or "Porta" is the most important part of the restaurant.
First and last impressions matter and have a lasting impact on guest experience.
The responsibilities of this position include
- Welcome each guest upon arrival and thank them for joining Over Easy when they leave.
- Seat each guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist i Pad system.
- If on a wait keep, remember it is our job to Spark Brighter Days.
- Answer phones, be able to answer guest questions or get them to the person that can best take care of that guest needs.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to Server as needed.
- Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred.
- Must maintain a valid Food Handlers' certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and welcoming personality.
- Able to stand for long periods and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to manage reservations, seating, and guest flow efficiently.
- Must be at least 16 years old and authorized to work in the U. S.
