There are very few opportunities where you can genuinely influence the future direction of an established global business; this is one of them.
I am partnering with a global real estate and digital infrastructure organisation that has built a significant international presence within the data centre sector. As part of its long-term growth strategy, the business is investing heavily in its leadership capability and is now seeking an exceptional Senior EMEA Operations Director to join its executive leadership team.
Working closely with the Managing Director and Board, you will take ownership of Operations across the EMEA portfolio, leading a significant operational function whilst helping drive commercial performance, operational excellence and future growth across the region.
This is not simply an operational leadership role.
You will have responsibility for:
- Leading Operations across a complex EMEA data centre portfolio.
- Managing a substantial P&L and driving commercial performance.
- Developing and leading high-performing engineering and operations teams.
- Building strategic relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Driving operational excellence, resilience and standardisation across the business.
- Playing a key role in shaping the future growth and strategy of the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
Who we're looking for:
We're keen to speak with senior leaders who have built their careers within a data centre environment and understand what world class operational excellence looks like.
- A strong engineering or critical infrastructure background.
- Significant operational leadership experience within the data centre sector.
- Experience leading multi-site or regional operations across Europe or EMEA.
- Strong commercial acumen, including P&L ownership and strategic business leadership.
- The credibility to engage with executive leadership, customers and key partners alike.
- A passion for building high-performing teams and driving continuous improvement.
Backgrounds from leading operators, hyperscalers, colocation providers or data centre / real estate service providers are all of interest.
