We\\\’re looking for a Junior Drafter to provide accurate 2D drawings and 3D models that enable efficient manufacture, installation and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and amend technical drawings, blueprints and schematics from specifications, sketches and red lines.
- Use CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) to create parts, assemblies and layout drawings, ensuring correct layers, line weights, dimensions and tolerances.
- Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes; maintain revision history and drawing registers.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects and senior drafters to clarify requirements and ensure drawings meet project, company and industry standards.
- Produce exports (PDF/DXF/STEP as required), basic schedules/BOMs and transmittals for internal and external stakeholders.
Experience
- Experience with AutoCad or SolidWorks or ReVit in 2D + 3D
- Ability to read/interpret technical drawings and follow instructions with high attention to detail.
- Teamwork, communication and time-management skills suited to a professional setting.
