To enable this, we need team members who fully live our OneTeam value which is at the heart of everything we do at Ovarro. Ovarro is a Β£47m turnover business with a supply spend ~ Β£15m supply spend. We are now looking to hire an Head of Supply Chain who will be responsible for managing the Ovarro Supply Chain function.
You will add impact at Ovarro by;
- Leading the global S&OP processes to deliver robust demand planning processes and parameters, working closely with the regional sales teams.
- Leading the global procurement requirements, negotiation and vendor spend management.
- Leading and developing demand planning activities to achieve market leading customer satisfaction including correct inventory levels and aligned lead times.
- Provide overall leadership and management for Production Planning, Tactical Procurement, Site Distribution Centres and overall material flow.
- Responsible for all sourcing and commodity management processes. Develop global strategies and lead negotiations to maximize total value and minimize risks
Candidates should have;
- Proven experience within a manufacturing/ logistics planning environment ideally within the Electrical/Electronics Industry
- Previous experience to include leading procurement and materials planning organizations and driving strategic change
- Full understanding of the S & OP process and experience of full ownership to deliver an improved performance
- Extensive supply chain experience with the ability to work autonomously and with a capable team.
- Able to work at all levels in the business, comfortable in the detail and data mining alongside strategic decision making β a hands on approach is critical for success in this role
- Comfortable with a fast pace of change and development with strong decision making skills β comfortable in the grey
