The Role
- Creation of purchases for raw materials, components from our MRP system
- Working closely with Suppliers to make sure we are buying competitively
- Attention to detail essential β keeping Supplier records up to date
- Work well as part of a team
- Expedition of outstanding purchase orders to make sure we have materials when we need them. Chasing order acknowledgements from Suppliers
- Resolution of any supplier invoice queries to enable our accounts team to pay our Suppliers in a timely manner
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
About You
- Proven experience working in a Purchasing role
- Experience of working on an ERP system
- Understanding of basic MRP
- Proven experience in data analytics is a distinct advantage
