Head of Operations - HNW Wealth Manager & Investment Management Firm

Chipping Norton (flexible work from home options) - £competitive + Bonus (Profit Share) & Package

An Award-winning Wealth Management Consultancy who continues to grow and develop have an exciting opening for a Senior Operations Manager. This key new role will report directly into the CEO and be responsible for managing and developing client operations. You will work closely with Senior Management on strategic growth, efficiency and implementation.

The company are a highly regarded Wealth Manager who provide niche Wealth Planning Advice and Investment Management solutions to a prestigious HNW Client base. They manage portfolios both on a Discretionary and Advisory basis, are experts in legacy planning and offer long term Investment, Pension and Estate Planning. They are currently 40 strong and are fully employee owned which brings a strong working ethos to the firm where everyone prospers from the continued success. They offer an excellent working environment; strong package including profit share and heavily invest in the development of the team.

Specifics of the role include –

  • Overall management responsibility for business operations. Head of Financial Planning, Paraplanning and Client Management will all report into you.
  • Support the above managers and departments with day to day running, technical oversight and service requirements when needed.
  • Hold management meetings with direct reports, reviewing departmental performance, goals and budgets.
  • Work closely with the CEO and COO on long term strategy and business improvement projects. Assist in the development of the business plan and individual department plans.
  • Support the overall growth strategy of the company and have a key input into business decision making.
  • Help identify compliance and risk issues. Work closely with the compliance manager to ensure compliance frameworks are followed.
  • Provide the board with key information and reporting as required.
  • Attend weekly and monthly management meetings.
  • Take ownership of relationships with key service providers.

This role would suit someone who would enjoy a strategic role where you would have genuine input into the continued development of a highly successful business. You will need to bring both technical expertise and strong business operations management experience. A through knowledge of investments, wealth management and financial services regulations is key, alongside professional qualifications (min diploma 4 qualified).
