A specialist joinery company delivering high-quality bespoke solutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual with strong technical knowledge and a proactive, can-do attitude.

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for bespoke joinery projects. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are priced efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for bespoke joinery projects
  • Interpret and price from architectural drawings and specifications
  • Complete take-offs from plans, elevations, and technical drawings
  • Liaise with clients in a professional and confident manner
  • Attend client meetings in London when required
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure accurate project costing
  • Use Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word to prepare quotations and manage communications

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Joinery Estimator
  • Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
  • Confident completing take-offs from technical plans
  • Comfortable in client-facing environments
  • Positive, proactive, can-do attitude
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Within commutable distance to company HQ

Package & Benefits:

  • Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
  • Company Pension (following 3 months’ service)
  • Private Health Insurance (following 12 months’ service)
  • Monthly Mobile Allowance
  • Holiday Entitlement:
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Increases by 1 day per year up to a maximum of 25 days
