Position: Kitchen Sales Designer - Luxury Kitchens
Location: Richmond, SW London
Salary: £30-35K basic - negotiable dependant on experience, Plus uncapped commission OTE £70K+

Our Client: A kitchen specialist celebrating 35 years of transforming kitchens across the UK. Specialising in bespoke German manufactured kitchens, they have multiple showrooms across the country. They are all about people, choice and the personal touch.
They have an exciting opportunity for a confident, creative and ambitious Kitchen Sales Designer to join their retail team! The newly available role is based in SW London and is the prime opportunity to design and deliver customers their ‘dream kitchen’, through the utilisation of excellent design skills! An engaging personality and a proven track record for closing sales and managing the entire customer journey from design through to completion is desired.
The successful candidate will assist the Showroom Manager with the creation of brand new showroom displays and will need to play an active role with the marketing and development of new leads. You must be comfortable working within a small team, to a deadline, with customer service at the forefront of your mind.
The Role: Kitchen Sales Designer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Liaising with suppliers to provide full quotations within a timely manner
- Undertaking the day-to-day tasks required to keep the showroom running
- Organise your own schedule and plan your time efficiently
- Assist the showroom manager with marketing and promotional activities
- Greeting and meeting customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their individual design requirements
- Planning and designing a bespoke kitchen from the Company’s premium and extensive product range, providing advice on the room layout
- Preparing and completing sales contracts, purchase orders
- Managing projects through to completion by liaising with installers and customers and ordering and booking installations
The Candidate: Kitchen Sales Designer
- Driving license essential as you will be undertaking site surveys
- Proven track record in closing sales, with examples of kitchens sold
- Previous design experience essential, (Compusoft Winner preferred) however all CAD experience considered as full training on software will be provided
- Experience in EasyQuote beneficial
- Experience and passion for selling and designing kitchens, with at least 2 years’ experience in a KBB showroom
- Flexibility to work within a retail environment, meeting the needs of the showroom
- Ability to deliver exceptional service throughout the design, supply and installation process, ensuring professionalism and a ‘first class’ experience
