An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially driven Territory Sales Representative to join a leading business within the KBB and trade sector.
This is a field-based role where you'll be responsible for developing and growing your customer base, winning new business and building long-term relationships with trade professionals across your territory.
The area will cover Barnsley to Retford.
Working closely with your local depot and internal teams, you'll enjoy the autonomy to manage your own workload while playing a key role in driving sustainable sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and win new business opportunities within your territory.
- Develop and grow existing customer accounts, increasing spend and frequency of trading.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with trade customers and key decision-makers.
- Promote the company's products and services, demonstrating the value of partnering with the business.
- Collaborate with depot colleagues to maximise customer opportunities and support overall branch performance.
- Manage customer enquiries professionally from initial contact through to resolution.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales pipeline information using internal systems.
- Contribute to team meetings, sharing market insight and business development opportunities.
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with company Health & Safety policies.
About You
The successful candidate will have
- Previous experience within a field sales, business development or territory sales role.
- A proven track record of winning new business and achieving sales targets.
- Experience working with trade customers within the KBB, merchant or construction sectors would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy territory independently.
- A proactive, self-motivated and resilient approach.
- A full UK driving licence.
