OV Distribution is looking for a confident and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team on a 3-month contract. We are a growing wholesale supplier in the vape and nicotine products market, working with retailers and trade customers across the UK. Our focus is simple: good products, competitive pricing, reliable service and strong customer relationships.

This role would suit someone who enjoys speaking to people, building trust quickly and turning conversations into action.

  • Contract length: 3 months
  • Salary: £24,000 annual equivalent
  • Working pattern: 3 days in the office, 2 days hybrid
  • Location: Manchester

What you’ll be doing:

  • Reaching out to potential trade customers and introducing them to OV Distribution.
  • Encouraging customers to sign up through our website.
  • Pitching products, offers and trade benefits in a clear and professional way.
  • Following up with leads and helping move customers from interest to sign up.
  • Supporting the team with day-to-day sales activity and customer communication.
  • Keeping track of conversations, sign-ups and potential opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone confident on the phone and comfortable speaking to new customers.
  • A friendly, persuasive communicator who can build relationships naturally.
  • A proactive person who does not wait to be told every next step.
  • Someone organised enough to follow up properly and keep customer details clear.
  • Sales, retail, wholesale, vape industry or customer service experience would be helpful, but attitude and confidence matter most.

Due to the nature of the products, applicants must be 18 or over. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on sales experience in a fast-moving business, with the chance to make a visible impact from day one.
