Outwood Primary Academy Park Hill is seeking a Teaching Assistant and Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their academy. The successful candidate will work as a Teaching Assistant during the morning periods, supporting the teaching and learning of Maths and English under the direction of teaching staff; during the afternoon, they will work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, covering the PPA of class teachers.

This role involves working collaboratively with teaching staff to assist teachers in the whole planning cycle and management of the class. The working pattern is 16 hours as a Teaching Assistant and 12.5 hours as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, Monday to Friday term time only plus two days.

We are looking for a highly self‑motivated individual with high expectations for all pupils. Excellent curriculum knowledge is essential, and evidence of experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant is required.
