The Role: We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Science who loves their subject, possesses deep subject knowledge, and is driven to ensure our students love Science just as much as we do. You will join a high-performing team of 10, led by a dedicated Head of Department and Second in Department. All science lessons are taught in specialist labs contained within a purpose-built building with two prep rooms. At GCSE we follow the AQA specification delivering both the separate science and the Trilogy Combined Science curriculum.
Outwood Grange Academies Trust (OGAT) are proud to be a part of the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) hosting its North and East campus as Outwood Academy Redcar and Outwood Academy Adwick. The NIoT identifies best practice in education, in order to develop cutting-edge, evidence-based teacher training and professional development programmes.
