Role Overview

Position: PA to Principal & Office Manager, Outwood Academy Acklam.

Start Date: 01/09/2026

Salary: £27,441-£28,353 per annum.

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only (15 days).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Principal and Vice Principals, managing diaries and office functions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for complaints addressed to the Principal and manage exclusion documentation.
  • Clerk Academy Council meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Liaise with the Local Academy Council and external agencies.
  • Line-manage academy administration staff, including performance management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in a PA role or equivalent administrative position.
  • Demonstrated leadership, staff management and motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences and strict confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in standard ICT, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g., Business Administration) is desirable.
