Outwood Academy Acklam, the first Outwood school in Teesside, has an enrollment of almost 1200 students each academic year. In its most recent assessment, it was recognized as a GOOD school. Responsibilities:
- The Officer manages all administrative and operational aspects of examinations, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with JCQ regulations.
- This includes managing the MIS for entries, liaising with boards, overseeing invigilation timetabling, training/supervising invigilators, and managing the security and distribution of examination papers and results.
- The role also involves critical data management: coordinating the student census, using 'Praising Stars' for pupil tracking, undertaking statistical analysis of assessment data and trends for departmental managers and SLT, and producing reports to identify underachieving students.
- They provide all parents with student assessment data.
Qualifications:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.
- Essential experience includes working with statistical analysis, management information, and data collection, as well as assisting with or organising educational examinations.
- Candidates should possess the ability to effectively communicate, use standard ICT packages, particularly Excel, and work well under pressure while managing competing deadlines.
- A key skill is the ability to analyse data and present it clearly.
- Experience in the use of educational management information systems, including SIMS, is desirable.
