Outwood Post 16 Centre and Outwood Academy Valley are seeking exam invigilators for the 2026 exam period (May–June, with mock exams in November and March). The main job duties include:

  • Ensure correct exam procedures are followed.
  • Set out and collect exam papers and materials.
  • Admit students to the exam hall/room.
  • Invigilate during exams.
  • Collate exam papers for submission to exam boards.
  • Optionally scribe for individual students (read questions and write answers).

Appointments are casual; you can choose the number of hours to work. Full training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • A good standard of education and experience working with adults and/or retirees.
  • Applicable DBS check, satisfactory references and suitability checks for working with children.
