Design Technology Technician (Temporary until 31st August 2027) Grade 3, SCP 5-6 (£17,209.56 - £17,482.67) 29 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.

We are seeking to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and inspirational DT Technician with a strong commitment to working with young people in an educational setting. In this role you will support the DT department in the preparation for lessons and assist with practical lessons when required. To assist teachers and support teaching and learning you will be required to work with small groups of students.

We believe that all support staff within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of securing student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious individuals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.

Required to start in September 2026, the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills which will allow them to engage with students and staff. You will also be highly organised and able to manage your time effectively. You should have 5 GCSEs (including English and Maths) or equivalent and be keen to undergo further development/education. Full training and support will be given to the right candidate.
