Outwood Academy Adwick is an 11-18 academy based just north of Doncaster. We are part of the Outwood Family and achieve a Good Ofsted rating in 2023. Role
Learning Manager
You will be required to support learning through the use of data, strategic intervention and monitoring to maximise student attainment. You must be able to work with students on academic and behavioural aspects, and collaborate with the Inclusion Co-ordinator and Leadership Team to improve student behaviour, attendance and outcomes. Day to day you will work with students to help them to be the best they can be.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support all students in the year group, academically and behaviourally.
- Work with students to improve attainment, behaviour and attendance.
- Collaborate with the Inclusion Co-ordinator and Leadership Team on strategies to raise standards and transform lives.
- Prioritise work, manage deadlines, and lead by example while dealing with students, parents and external agencies professionally and confidentially.
Requirements
- Excellent organisation and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative and lead by example.
- Experience in working with students, parents and external agencies in a professional, confidential manner.
- Hours: Full time; term time plus 5 days. Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week.
