Salary: £13,025.51 - £13,232.22 (Grade 3)
Working Pattern: 22.25 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday. Term Time only plus 2 days - Permanent
Responsibilities
- Implement planned learning activities, support the teacher in monitoring and recording student progress, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Assist students with SEND or EAL, helping to develop individual plans such as One Page Profiles and EHCPs.
- Support student social and emotional well-being, assist with eating, dressing, and hygiene where required, and provide cover in intervention settings like the Bridge and PLC.
- Escort and supervise students on educational visits and invigilate formal examinations.
Qualifications
- Experience working effectively within a school environment or directly with children and young people is required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work flexibly to meet business needs are essential.
- Proficiency in using standard ICT packages, including Microsoft Office, and respecting and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with GDPR are also required.
- Willingness to undertake necessary training to support students, including meeting medical or care plan agreements, is mandatory.
- Previous experience with children with Special Needs and/or challenging behaviours is desirable.
