Job DescriptionMidday Supervisor – Term time only (38 weeks). Monday – Friday, 2 hours per day. Grade 1 (SCP 2). Salary £5,563 per annum. The role involves ensuring the security, safety, well‐being and care of children during lunchtime, while promoting their social, emotional and physical development outside the classroom.

Responsibilities

Ensure the security, safety, well‐being and care of students during lunchtime periods.

Support students\’ social, emotional and physical development outside the classroom.

Maintain a safe, caring and positive environment in line with school ethos.

Record and report any incidents or concerns regarding student welfare.

Collaborate with school staff to promote effective pastoral support.

QualificationsEssential criteria (as per Person Specification):

Experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school setting.

Good organisational and communication skills.

Ability to manage a small group of pupils safely and effectively.

Commitment to safeguarding and child protection procedures.

Capable of working part‐time (2 hours per day) during term time.
